Corona  2009 Youth Track & Field Season Signup starts Now! at: Centennial High School in upper Parking Lot in front of Track Stadium Monday February 9th 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Signup will be held through June 2009.

We are a 501 (c)( 3) nonprofit program for youth sports, development, training and competition in both Track and Field, Cross Country and agility training for various sports.  Corona Golden Elite Track Club is a member of USA Track & Field the National governing body of track & field, race walking, cross country, and long distance running, we provide year-round sports training and competition in various events for age group children. The athletes are given continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness through strength and speed training.

The Corona Golden Elite Track Club is the vision of former collegic Track Athletes and Parents  with the most important job to teach children character-building life lessons through sports. Done right, youth sports teaches children from grade school through high school incomparable lessons in leadership, handling adversity, teamwork, persistence and compassion.

Some athletes will compete at Youth meets and road races giving their maximum effort, continuing to learn and improve, and dealing well with mistakes when they happen. Regardless of whether young athletes achieve a personal best, win a medal, or earn a shot at national competition, they'll have the opportunity to make new friends - and a lifetime of memories! experience joy and participate in the sharing of skills and friendships with other athletes.

The Corona Golden Elite Track & Field Program is able to brighten childrens lives through healthy living one step at a time thanks to the support of individual donors.  We welcome all levels of donations, whether it’s a one-time gift, a monthly donation, or the establishment of a matching gift program. USA Track and Field's largest youth program is the Junior Olympics,  KB, and KT, of Corona Golden Elite in  Baltimore at the 2006 JO’s where nearly 70,000 youth athletes compete each year in the Track & Field and Cross Country championships. Many of America's Olympians began as youth athletes, including stars such as Justin Gatlin, Maurice Greene,  Allyson Felix, and Deena Kastor.

As the #1 high school and junior high school participatory sport, track & field, long distance running, and race walking offer a variety of competitive and fitness opportunities.
